The workshop is designed as introductory level workshop with a rich blend of Chinese medicine philosophy, evidence-based theory, and hands-on clinical application, with a strong emphasis on practical skills that participants can immediately integrate into their maternity care practice.

You will receive:

• Certification through AcuHarmony, recognising completion of the training.
• CPD hours to support their ongoing professional development.
• A deeper understanding of the philosophical foundations of Chinese medicine and how these principles translate into contemporary maternity care.
• Evidence-informed knowledge of acupressure and Acuneedling approaches, underpinned by current research and clinical experience.
• Extensive practical training to build confidence in using techniques safely and effectively in real-world settings.

Beyond the workshop itself, you will gain access to a supportive professional community, including:

• Ongoing networking, mentorship, and learning opportunities through the Acuneedling community.
• Pathways for advanced level training in Acuneedling and other techniques.
• Pathways to become involved with professional organisations such as the Obstetrical Acupuncture Association (OBAA), supporting the growing midwifery arm of the organisation.
• Opportunities to purchase carefully curated starter packs containing the tools and resources needed to begin incorporating Acustimulation approaches into practice immediately.

Our aim is for you to leave not only inspired by the wisdom of Chinese medicine, but also equipped with practical, evidence-based skills, professional connections, and resources that can make an immediate difference to the women and families you care for.

This training will provide you with the skills and confidence to provide safe and effective acuneedling and  acustimulation care to mothers and fill a gap when acupuncturists are not readily available.

This workshop specifically offers midwives a supportive and wholistic technique that keeps to traditional midwifery practices but also helps potentially alleviate the need for medical intervention.

Acuneedling forms part of woman centred integrative care and supports whole person health and respective maternity care.
