Where I share what I know about planning a GREAT birth. We are NOT covering breathing techniques, affirmations or birth ball gymnastics.This masterclass is more important than that! It's designed to equip you with practical strategies to maintain your power and control, reduce unwanted interventions, and give you the best chance of a vaginal birth (if that's what you want).
BUT Remember - a great birth isn't always a vaginal birth, or even a low intervention birth. Believe it or not, it's not the outcome that determines your experience, the real answer to a GREAT birth is bigger than that.
Unfortunately, a great birth doesn't come without planning and education. The 'go with the flow' and 'see what happens' plan will not result in a GREAT and SATISFYING birth. You've got to curate that for yourself - But how? That's what I'm here for.

Why isn't the system set up for GREAT births?

The maternity care system is a one size fits all model. It is designed to move people through like a factory. Care is institutionalised, NOT individualised.
The maternity care system can't cater to womens individual needs. This means that:
*1 in 3 women feel traumatised by their birth*
*1 in 10 women report experiencing assault and unconsented medical procedures from their care provider*
*rising rates of routine interventions with worsening outcomes for women and babies*
When you arrive at your labour and birth you must navigate a complex power struggle between what you want and what your care provider and birth institution wants. Being prepared for this is the key to a GREAT birth.
BUT, the maternity care system doesn't want you to have power, knowledge or preferences. They want you to do as you're told.
BUT you don't want to do as you are told.
