How to get to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition and Centre.

The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre is located in South Wharf, Melbourne.

Public Transport

Southern Cross Station is closest. Take tram routes 96, 109, or 12 to stop 124A Casino/MCEC/Clarendon Street outside our Clarendon Street entrance or walk 10 mins to reach our venue.

All metropolitan trains are wheelchair accessible and have allocated spaces for passengers using mobility aids.

Parking

Wilson Parking offers flexible rates and secure underground parking at the Exhibition Centre.

It also has accessible parking with lift access up to Door 1, 6 and 10 in the Exhibition Centre.

Getting Inside the Venue

When you arrive at The MCEC please take the lift, escalators or stairs to level 2 and proceed to the Melbourne Room.

Check in is upstairs outside the Melbourne Room. There you will be given your bag of swag, and name tag.

Through the conference, we will be running a competition where you can win one of 3 free tickets to The Convergence 2027 in Sydney. 

  1. Take a photo or video of something amazing from the conference.
  2. Post the image or video on Instagram as a post or in your stories and tag us @melaniethemidwife so we can share it.
  3. Each tagged post counts as an entry, the more you post the more chance of winning.
  4. Make sure you use #convergenceofrebelliousmidwives and tag @Melaniethemidwife.
  5. Entries will close at lunchtime on Sunday.
  6. Be around at the end of the conference where we will draw a winner using a random picker wheel.
